[Has been posted at my Multiply account on 29 Oct 2007] We discovered a new place called Waterbom (noted: it is not Waterboom but WaterBOM) in Pantai Indah Kapuk, North Jakarta. I really don’t know anything about how to get there. Luckily, Aryo, my husband, knows a little bit about that area.
After discussed a several optional places, just in case we couldn’t find this place, we headed to Waterbom in Pantai Indah Kapuk.
We finally made it!.. Arrived at quite vast parking lot. The Grand Opening on 27 Oct 2007, and we come only 1 day after the Grand Opening. You can easily find the Giant Banner “Waterbom – The Urban Cool”. Please do not ask me what’s the meaning of it, since I’m wondering about it myself.
Enough of discussion, we bought ticket, on week-days Rp. 120,000/person and on week-ends Rp.160, 000/persons, include food and drink at food court
We headed to change room and need to pay for locker around Rp. 100,000.
..And here we go!..
There are several attraction to choose : Aqua Tube, The Hair Pin, Speed Slide, The Whizzard. We had tried all attractions and my favorite : Speed Slide. You go slide about 70km/hour! Yihaaa..
Then, we need some time out. And we go to bomblazter , you can play water gun to shoot your friends, on top of this area have a giant bucket full of water will shower you with big amount of water once it is full. Quite excited.
Time goes by, and we realized it when we feel really hungry. We decided to call off the day. Take a shower and start to order food at Food Court with our orange bracelet (as a token to buy food/drink).
I had really a great time today.
